“After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home,” I heard those words from my own son as I was waking up from a coma… and then I did something he never would have expected.

“I heard those words from my own son as I was waking up from a coma: ‘After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home.’… and then I did something he never would have expected.

I had a stroke and fell into a coma. Then, one day, I opened my eyes to find my children in my hospital room.

What I heard was truly terrifying. My son said in a cold voice, ‘After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home.’

I immediately closed my eyes again so they wouldn’t notice I had woken up and so I could process everything.

‘After the funeral, we’ll sell everything. We need to prepare the documents,’ my son added.

‘Alright, but for now, we have to pretend we’re sad,’ my daughter replied.”
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It sounded like a nightmare. Listening to them, I realized that the doctors had given me no chance, and that they had already discussed their plans for the future.

I lay there quietly, although I wanted to scream. I was afraid they would discover that I wasn’t sleeping. I saw their true faces and understood that if they found out I had heard everything, we could be in danger.

So, I did nothing and waited for them to leave.

Later, when my wife came to see me, I told her everything. And the next day, when our children returned, my bed was already empty.

I had a well-thought-out plan… and they had no idea what I had prepared for them.

“After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home,” I heard those words from my own son as I was waking up from a coma… and then I did something he never would have expected.

With the help of my wife and a trusted doctor who was our friend, everything happened very quickly. In the middle of the night, I was transferred to another hospital.

THERE, I WAS FINALLY SAFE, SURROUNDED BY KIND PEOPLE.
“After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home,” I heard those words from my own son as I was waking up from a coma… and then I did something he never would have expected.

This new place allowed me to calmly think through everything I had heard.
A few days later, I requested a meeting with a notary.

“After his death, we’ll send the old one to a nursing home,” I heard those words from my own son as I was waking up from a coma… and then I did something he never would have expected.

I changed my will: instead of leaving my estate to my children, I decided to give most of it to a foundation that helps abandoned elderly people and to the hospital that saves lives every day.

As for our house, it will be entirely left to my wife — the only person who has remained loyal to me.
